The house rules

Community guidelines

The Wall works because it's honest and because it's safe. You don't need an account to post — but every review runs through automated spam and abuse checks, and the community can flag anything that slips through. Here's the deal.

✅ Yes, please

  • Your genuine experience — teaching, workload, campus, the city, housing, support, value.
  • The good and the bad. Balanced reviews help the most.
  • Specifics: what a semester actually felt like, what surprised you, what you'd tell your past self.
  • Fair criticism of a program, a service or a facility.

🚫 Not here

  • No naming individuals. Don't target specific staff or students by name — talk about the experience, not the person.
  • No hate, harassment or slurs. Discrimination of any kind gets removed.
  • No spam or promotion. No links, phone numbers, emails, agent ads or referral codes.
  • No review-bombing. Duplicate, copy-pasted or coordinated flooding is blocked automatically.
  • No private or personal data. Don't post anyone's contact details, ID or private information.
  • No fake reviews. Only write about places you actually experienced.

How moderation works

Every submission passes an automated screen — a bot check, timing and honeypot traps, rate limits, duplicate detection, and an abuse/profanity filter. Clean reviews go live instantly. Anything borderline is held for a quick manual check. Reviews that break the rules are rejected or hidden, and repeatedly reported reviews are auto-hidden pending review.

Reviews are personal opinions, not verified facts. If you believe something is false, abusive or breaks these rules, hit Report on the card and we'll take a look.
